Kneeling with Jesus in the Garden
I have been reflecting on the hours leading up to Jesus’ arrest. In the dark of night, he knelt before God, pleading for a different way, a new plan of redemption. It is perhaps the most powerful example to all of us of the humanity and humility of Christ.
Hemmed in by God
A word of encouragement for moms from Psalm 139. God has hemmed us into the present and into his presence. Let us find our rest, our strength and our daily grace right where he has us.

Hurt AND healing. Regret AND hope. We struggle to acknowledge both in our lives. It can be confusing. It can cause tension. Yet, both must be acknowledged to truly live.
I Am Not Ashamed Of My Child
My son was not someone to be ashamed of. He was someone to be loved, encouraged and celebrated.
Moms in the Bible–Jochebed
The narration of Jochebed’s story is short, only ten verses. Yet they are full of faith, strength, courage, and hope. Her life and actions set in motion the rescue of God’s people from Egypt and the creation of the nation of Israel.
