When God gave the Israelites the ten commandments, he declared, “I am the Lord your God.” (Gen. 20:3) Then he instructed that they should have no other gods before him. This includes our husbands and our children.

Kindness Takes Patience
The phrase “kindness leads to repentance” can almost become formulaic. If I am kind, then my child will repent. If I am kind, then my child will stop misbehaving….Romans 2:4 highlights the power of kindness in bringing people to repentance, while also recognizing that it takes time.
