Hemmed in by God

A word of encouragement for moms from Psalm 139. God has hemmed us into the present and into his presence. Let us find our rest, our strength and our daily grace right where he has us.

We Need Each Other

Let’s work on building that community. Let us recognize the importance and value of having others in our lives who can build us up, and who we can build up in return, and then let us be willing to put in the effort required to make that happen.

I Am Not Ashamed Of My Child

My son was not someone to be ashamed of. He was someone to be loved, encouraged and celebrated.

Getting Out of the Crazy Cycle

I recognized early on that I was screwing things up. But instead of stopping or correcting myself, I just kept going in a glorious display of poor parenting leading us straight onto the crazy cycle.
