Little by little, as my son spent that extra time with his father, he began to change. This has been so life impacting to our whole family. And it has highlighted more than ever before how important both moms and dads are in our children’s lives.

I have been reflecting on the hours leading up to Jesus’ arrest. In the dark of night, he knelt before God, pleading for a different way, a new plan of redemption. It is perhaps the most powerful example to all of us of the humanity and humility of Christ.

We Need Each Other
Let’s work on building that community. Let us recognize the importance and value of having others in our lives who can build us up, and who we can build up in return, and then let us be willing to put in the effort required to make that happen.
